High Concept Statement:
Our mobile application allows users to save their favorite restaurants and share them with their friends.
Need or Demand:
There exists no app that contains a centralized theme, allows users to only save their favorite places, save places to visit later, and to share those places with their friends.
Product / Service / Solution:
We bridge this problem by allowing users to categorize, and share their favorite restaurants by placing a bean at each place they love.
For foodies of all ages who want to avoid getting lost in the plethora of restaurants. We provide a way for users to exchange good food recommendations with their friends, as well as bookmark places for later. Unlike other apps, users only input their favorite places, and can do so with the fun theme that Bean There provides.
Our primary competitors are Swarm, Foursquare, and Yelp. Bean There would be utilized more as a way to find great places recommended by your friends, whereas Yelp provides a global database of information. None of our competitors contain a centralized theme, only great food, and a way to share those places with friends.
After a large user-base of loyal customers is created, we will be partnering up with restaurants all over. The restaurants will pay a monthly fee, which will provide a way to reach out to their most loyal customers.
