High Concept Statement

A highly customizable tool for people to search for jobs and companies based off location preferences and unique criteria filters.

 

Status Quo

Everyone looking for a job has unique, personal attributes that define their search.  Why hasn’t the industry caught up? Currently, job seekers need to utilize several resources to obtain the information I want to provide.

 

Competition

Last summer, I was laid off.  I was looking for a new job and had priorities that defined what I wanted in a new role.  While searching for jobs on Careerbuilder, Indeed, Linkedin (and many others), I realized that none of these sites offered the customization I really cared about.  I couldn’t find an exact address, no site offered drop down filters for things like benefits or perks – the list goes on and on. My app will help provide these insights to any job seeker who wants more information about the job and company they are applying to.

 

Solution

Customers will prefer my service because it will offer a centralized database for job seekers to search for jobs in and around neighborhoods they care about, while also providing unique filters not available in the market.
