High Concept Statement
It is like tinder but for finding new employees. Applicants will post 20-40 second video along with their resume so employers will easily be able to vet who is qualified.
Finding a new employee is a long and tedious process. Meeting with an applicant should be the last step of that process. The current vetting process of applicants is not as efficient as it should be.
Employers and applicants are currently relying on less user friendly and efficient apps and sites like monster.com, ziprecruiter, and indeed.com. Most young prospective employees are familiar with tinder like apps and social media sites; there is not a job hiring app that plays into what young people are use to.
The app provides an applicant the opportunity to post a short 20-40 second video presentation along with their resume. The app will provide ease of use for both employers and employees. It will act as another channel to get a job. Employers will be able to do more efficient pre-vetting, allowing for a more efficient and effective process.
There would be no charge to the employer or employee. After usage becomes large enough we would look at an ad revenue model or third party services like background checks and job opening advertisement for employers.
Which platform would you like to launch your app on?
Which category best describes your app?
