High Concept Statement

With a simple “select & swipe,” TAPS streamlines the process of connecting with others on multiple platforms.

 

Status Quo

Meeting new people can be awkward enough, and even more so when exchanging contact information. Often, this means trading phones and adding each other in multiple platforms (i.e., phone numbers and Instagram). This even harder in a group. Anyone who meets new people can benefit from TAPS.

 

Competition

On an iPhone, users can share contact cards (including their own) over AirDrop. On Snapchat, users can add multiple people in the vicinity. Neither of these options, however, fully encompasses the idea of sharing multiple profiles over the Cloud.

 

Solution

Customers will be able to seamlessly connect social media, add phone numbers, email addresses, and other items. When exchanging information with an individual or group, “select” the handles and information desired, and then “shares” them with selected users in the vicinity. One can also divide the information into profiles (i.e., work, friends, etc.) for quick sharing.

 

Revenue Model

Individual users use TAPS for free, and their location enables local businesses to advertise relevant offers to them right in the app! TAPS for Business uses the same TAPS framework, but on an enterprise scale, and offers customized installation.
