High Concept Statement
A social app for CitiBike users to leave feeds about whether the bikes’ conditions are good or bad, and track their routes to compete with friends.
Status Quo
250,000 New Yorkers are subscribed for annual membership at CitiBike and a quarter of them ride it everyday. Our riders often get frustrated because the bike they choose has loose brakes or malfunctioning headlight. What if there’s someone who tells you about the bike’s condition before you pull it up?
Competition
There is no really a medium for people to share their bike’s condition — there are thousands of bikes and its usage is very instant that people still rely on their luck whether they choose a great one or the opposite whenever they pick up.
Solution
With our social platform, users will type in their bike’s number labeled on the frame, and tell whether or not if the bike has problem. On the backend of the platform, we aggregate the data by the bike number and provide a search platform for users to check its condition.
Revenue Model
We’re going to provide location-based ads on an app.
