Status Quo

app allows for its users to purposefully lock their cell phones for a specified
amount of time and eliminate any temptation to lose focus on performing a task at hand, whether it be working out, studying, work, etc.

 

Competition

People who are self disciplined will see no value in this application, however we find that the majority of both children and adults have a hard time focusing on a task when they knowingly have full access to all of the amenities that their phone has to offer, whether it be checking a sports score or scrolling through Instagram or facebook.  

 

Solution

This app prevents people from being distracted when they have a task that needs to be completed.  It eliminates the need to combat temptation or an urge to become distracted.

 

Revenue Model

A corporate sponsor can be the “blocker” of the phone, displaying only the name of a company when access to the phone is being attempted while the phone is still under lockdown.
