High Concept Statement

Smart fitbit for your grandparents. A biometric vital scanner that monitors hydration levels for geriatric patients to tackle preventable dehydration

 

Status Quo

Geriatric patients dehydrate quickly due to lack of adequate monitoring and sensory awareness (illness, aging) which results in a painful cycle of hospital visits for fatal disease states, including stroke. Our wearable will send biometrically scanned data to the PCP or VNS of the user.

 

Competition

Customers address this by trying to build good habits with support of VNS. Primary competition: hydration wearables for atheletes (which scan mainly perspiration levels)

 

Solution

Our wearable will fit to the lifestyle of the geriatric user, using smart but friendly tech for low skill levels, including familiar textures and buttons for sensory support, and work to directly monitor their real time biometric data. This will be preferred as it will support independent living and heightened security for one’s health

 

Revenue Model

One time $40 hardware purchase. $50 monthly subscription to cloud and data services + member support.
