High Concept Statement

A virtual closet that is powered by machine learning to create highly personalized outfits for the day.

 

Status Quo

Everyone, from business professionals to high school students, struggles with the hassle of choosing an outfit appropriate for the weather and the day’s events. This app works for the user to simplify the decision making process and save the user precious time and energy in the morning.

 

Competition

Customers are attempting to address the issue of selecting outfits by using apps such as ClosetSpace, Stylicious, Stylebook, Polyvore, Closet +, and more. These apps place the job of selecting outfits onto the user and then just cycle through the various outfits on different days. Their algorithms are not adaptive and place a heavy workload on the user, contributing to their low usage.  

 

Solution

Our solution is to reimagine the morning routine by using machine learning to reduce the time wasted by a user selecting clothing for the day. Rather than burdening the user, our app handles the workload, and takes the weather and calendar into consideration to create a personalized look.

 

Revenue Model

We would have a have a free standard account for all users. We will also have a platinum account for $5/month for ad-free browsing. Additionally, we would want companies to pay for ad-space they would use on our app to advertise their clothing
