High Concept Statement
A personal life event tracker to help recollect memories and frequency of recurring events more vividly.
Status Quo
Currently there is no streamlined way for people to quickly log and track when major events in their lives have occurred or how frequently particular events are occurring in their life. An all-in-one logger and tracker can help people be more aware of their past so that they can be more prepared for the future.
Competition
Customers currently don’t realize the potential benefits that this application can have on their life. They simply go about their day and let details of their past be overlooked. Our primary competition is Facebook, which has a timeline feature, which is shared with their friends. This application is intended to be a personal log that mostly concerns the person logging them unless they want to share any particular instances.
Solution
Similar to Instagram and Snapchat, this application serves a single purpose in a streamlined manner, which will make people gravitate towards our app for the use cases that it is intended to be used for.
Revenue Model
Advertisers can potentially use this app for letting users “check-in” using the recurring events option and reward them after they reached a certain milestone. Perhaps a code is generated on their end so that users can enter that code to log the verifiable event. (ex: McDonalds uses our app/API to generate a code for a specific recurring event such as “Bought a McCafe drink” and cashier would give their customer the code to enter it into our app.
