Concept Name

Lets Do Lunch

High Concept Statement

Date like a New Yorker. Be efficient by dating on your lunch break. Be spontaneous by doing it on a whim.

Status Quo

We all use dating apps. We swipe no more than we swipe yes and we break dates more than we keep them. Why do we do this? I don’t know, I’m not a psychologist. Let’s bring back meeting people in person. Wanna meet for lunch? Like in 20 minutes? No overthinking, no excuses.

Competition

Many popular dating apps use similar models. This has led to
-swiping without making meaningful connections
-people being expendable
-More cancellations than commitments
-Wasted time and energy

Let’s change this culture. Let’s create a culture of commitment by inviting someone to lunch who’s already available. Let’s go somewhere convenient for both of us. Let’s date like an adult and avoid excuses and last minute cancellations.

Competition:Tinder, Bumble, Coffee meets Bagel, okcupid, Happn, Zoosk
