Status Quo

International citizens experience hardship while finding an appropriate subculture upon their arrival to NYC. A long search for the right culture brings forth adverse circumstances in a fast paced setting akin to NYC’s.

 

Competition

Many internationals tend to search for information that meets their cultural needs via review-based mobile apps (Yelp), tourist websites (Trip Advisors), newspaper calendars, among others. However, our competitors failed to gather these culturally oriented information and re-categorize them into a way that can be easily accessed and understood by internationals. There is no app that solves this immediate issue.

 

Solution

Our application’s focus is on culture and experience, rather than simple numerical ratings that can be monopolized by the operator. We will provide tailored information that is curated specifically for an international looking to find his or her niche in New York City.

 

Revenue Model

Advertising Revenue: We will pay a third party ad distributor to install ads in our application and generate revenue depending on the amount of views received.
